Closest International Airports:
1. Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD)
Located in Dulles, Virginia, this is one of the major international airports serving the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area.
2. Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) - Situated in Baltimore, Maryland, BWI is another key international airport that serves the region.
3. Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) - Although primarily serving domestic flights, DCA handles some international flights and is the closest airport to downtown Washington, D.C.
Transportation Options:
From Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) to 1750 Rockville Pike:
Driving: The drive typically takes about 35-45 minutes, depending on traffic.
Uber/Lyft: Both services are available from the airport. The ride can cost between $40 to $70, varying by time of day and demand.
Taxi: Taxis are readily available and the fare to the Hilton might range from $60 to $90.
Train: The Silver Line Express Bus connects the airport to the Wiehle-Reston East Metro Station, where you can catch the Silver Line Metro to Metro Center, then transfer to the Red Line towards Shady Grove, getting off at the Twinbrook Station. The Hilton is a short ride or walk from there.
